A demo from the New Technoligies SIG groupon an iMac dual booting OS X and Vista, Why you may want to do this. - I have this covered (Arnie Gelb) just not sure where to set this up. Any New Tech SIG Members reading this please call me.

...these are a few of my thoughts...and the best part is if you could get a few people to do the demos they could be different throughout the day or repeated a few times and thenPEOPLE could leave and someone else doa different demo so no one would be exhausted at the end of the day. Rita M Skarbek
...and of course the major question is would anyone volunteer to do some of this stuff AND WHO WOULD DO WHAT AND WHEN once a decision is made on what the demos will be.
WE are going to have three rows of pc's. Each row will have the same demo. only three demos. Any other demos will be outside the classroom.
Are we going to have a separate room like last year?

MISC--Even something simple as "the power of vista as a new operating system" and how it differs from XP, or how simple it is to use JING or how to backup your files...mini versions of some of the classes...or demo how the green screen works in video editing

I would suggest that one demo deal with digital imaging process from camera to computer and the way you can alter a photo and create a slide show and upload it to a photo sharing site online...in just a few easy steps. Perhaps another could deal with a quick video right on site anduploading itfrom a digital camera and thenediting it online and posing it...or creating a simple greeting card or digital scrapbook page or business card or uploading music to an ipod or sending a film clip or photo from your phone to your pc or sending an IM from your phone or pc. I'm sure the NewTechSig could demo some of the same stuff it did last year and the new SIG on investing could demo online banking or some such site on following your stock, or adding an RSS feed to your PC or geneology doingit's thing.
